The Metamora Football Parents Organization is sponsoring a fundraiser on Thursday, August 5th at Kouri's Grill and Bar. The event will be held from 4:00pm to 9:00pm. Kouri's has agreed to donate part of the evenings proceeds toward the football program. Parents are to pay player fees (to cover the cost of meals, buses, etc.), pick up information, sign up for the various activities and enjoy a meal at Kouri's. Additional information will be provided in July. Everyone is welcome. Come meet the players. Thanks!!!
Class 4A State Champions
Congratulation to the 2009 Metamora Redbirds. The Redbirds captured the 4A state championship by defeating Geneseo 41-7. This was Metamora's third trip in a row to the championship game. The 2008 Redbirds brought home the class 5A runner-up trophy while the 2007 team collected the class 5A state championship hardware. Congratulations to all teams.
