A few years ago, we decided to invest in the Lake Vermilion area we've enjoyed for over 20 years.  It has always been our dream of owning a home on Lake Vermilion and then we discovered this home on Head of Lakes Bay near Cook, Minnesota.  It is surrounded by pine trees with a southern exposure and a spectacular view of the lake.  It has 3 bedrooms, 4 baths, great room, dining room, family room and lower level apartment with kitchenette, screened in porch off the deck to enjoy the sunsets without the mosquitoes, a boat dock, and a covered shore station complete the package.  Click here to see a picture gallery of the home.

Accommodations
Architecturally designed 3 level home with 3400 square feet of space - every room has a view of the lake.

3 bedrooms, 4 full bathrooms with lower level kitchenette.

King size bed in the master bedroom, bunk beds and full bed in the other two upstairs rooms.

Lower level has 2 twin beds that can be merged to make a king size bed.

Full size "hide a bed" in the living room.

Maximum number of guests - 8.

Fully furnished with linens and towels.

6 person indoor sauna.

Fully equipped kitchen with microwave and dishwasher.

Family room television with DVD player.

Boat dock with a covered shore station.

Only 1/2 mile from public boat launch.

Air Conditioning and electric heat.

Screened in porch.

Convenient access off Route 24 from Cook.

No smoking and pets are not allowed.

Lake water system - please bring your own drinking water

Policies
Check in time 4:00 PM, Check out time 9:00 AM.

Weekly rental is from Saturday to Saturday.

$50 service charge on all cancellations and returned checks.
$300 security fee required at the time of booking.

Security fee fully refunded within 2 weeks of departure after inspection.

$600 deposit required at the time of booking, balance paid in full 14 days before rental date.

In case of cancellation, deposit is non-refundable if house can not be rented during your booked dates.

Checks or cash only.  Sorry no credit cards.

No refunds for not staying the entire week.

Reduced rates available for longer than one week stays - please contact us for more information.

Must supply your own drinking water - house has lake water system not recommended for drinking.

Rates
May through September $2000 per week for 4 people, $100 per week per each additional person

$375 per day, 2 day minimum for 4 people, $25 per day per each additional person

Most of this information is for the west end of Lake Vermilion where our house is located.  We have spent very little time on the east (Tower) end of the lake and therefore do not have much advice to offer.

White Eagle Resort
If your looking for a resort instead of a house for your vacation, we highly recommend White Eagle.  Mike and Bonnie run an outstanding resort and are very accommodating.  We're confident you'll enjoy your stay with them as much as we have in the past.  They also offer gas, oil, and bait for the general public.

Pehrson Lodge
